When can I move in?

If there is a storage space available you can move in anytime.

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

All you need is a Government issued form of ID (example: driver’s license, state id, or passport)

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

No, we rent on a month to month basis unless the customer requests it.

What about insurance?

We offer personal property insurance to protect your valuables at competitive rates.

Does someone have to be in the office to let me through the security gates?

No. At the time of signing you will be given your own security password code that will allow you access from 6:00am to 7:00pm, 365 days a year. 24 hours access may be available to specific units.

How do I make a payment?

You can either pay in person, through the mail or on our website. You may also sign up to have the payment automatically deducted from your credit card monthly.

Can I just stop by to view the facility and storage spaces? Or do I need an appointment?

Stop by anytime between the hours of Monday - Sunday 9:00am 12:00pm, 1:00pm - 5:00pm for a complimentary tour of our facility.

Do I need to bring my own lock?

You can, but DeAnza Self Storage sells all moving supplies including locks if you do not have one.

How much notice needs to be given when I move out?

We require a 7 day written notice before you move out. Our staff will go over that process at the time of signing.

Are their any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, Explosives, Flammable liquids, Toxic materials and Perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions of a specific item.

Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?

Yes. You are welcome to use the complimentary carts and dollies to move in.

Are their any additional fees?

Standard Self Storage does require a one-time administrative fee of $15 which is to be paid at the time of signing. We do not require a security deposit.

What are the hours of operation?

The office is open Monday - Sunday 9:00am - 12:00pm, 1:00pm - 5:00pm. We are closed on Major Holidays.
